The Trapdoor Springfield Carbine comes with a 22 inch round barrel which is blue finished and comes with an adjustable rear sight.
All of the other metal parts, with the exception of the breech door and the buttplate, are also blued. These two parts are case colored.
The stock is oil finished walnut with an excellent metal to wood fit.

The Officer's Rifle was a late manufactured model produced between 1875 and 1885. These were the very best quality rifles at the time and were available to only a few shooters. Our rifle comes with a 26 inch round barrel with a blue finish. The stock is walnut with an oil style finish and is checkered at the wrist and at the forend. The forend cap is hand fitted to the rifle. Equipped with a single set trigger, rear sight (USA 473) and Creedmoor sight adjustable in elevation and windage. The receiver, lock, hammer, trigger guard assembly and buttplate are all case colored.
