Built a Pedersoli Brown Bess for a friend 40 years ago. His widow gave the Brown Bess back  to me in 2022, but the lock was missing and so far has not been found. I bought the 1762 Grice lock and am very happy with it- a most emphatic flash, and 30 odd shots have fired first go- not a single 'flash in the pan!'
